History

CCBA is one of the colleges at Dhofar University offering program in the area of business management. CCBA was established as one of the three colleges at the inception of the university in 2004. Since then it had catered to the need of business education for the local community and the country. CCBA started its diploma and bachelors program under the supervision of American University of Beirut which also designed the curriculum and program objectives, goals, and learning outcomes.

CCBA has a College Advisory Board comprising of eminent personalities representing the corporate and the government, and is responsible to advice the college in all its future strategic planning. The academic programs of CCBA are ably supported by the industry, who actively participates in seminars and lecturer being conducted at the college to give practical inputs to our students.

CCBA also has a Centre for Entrepreneurship in collaboration with Oman chambers of commerce and industry and AL Rafd Fund of the government of Oman. The centre aims to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship among the young generation of Omanis as it believes that entrepreneurship and innovation are powerful tools that help the society to grow. The centre motto is “Give value to ideas!” to create a new entrepreneur, who would like to start a business, but he doesn’t know what to do next.

CCBA is always a buzz with students from dawn to dusk, its labs steaming with young minds to experiment ideas, one can see young entrepreneur discussing business sitting in every nook and corner of the building be it stairs, or corridors, or faculty offices it is BUSINESS round the clock.
