The Entrepreneurship Center Participates in the International Innovation Conference in Frankfurt

In German and English languages, Lujain El-Maghraby (Director of the Entrepreneurship Center and Chair of the Industry Engagement Committee at the College of Commerce and Business Administration) participated in the “International Conference on Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation” in Frankfurt, the economic capital of Germany, on February 5, 2023.

The German and English presentations were about a research paper entitled: “Critical Success Factors for Entrepreneurship Incubators: Success Case Studies from Oman.” The presentation discussed new elements that should be added to the current theoretical concept of incubators, the type of services and added value that entrepreneurship incubators should provide, the basic requirements for entrepreneurship to function effectively, and some case studies in the Sultanate of Oman of successful entrepreneurship that demonstrated a supportive environment for potential entrepreneurs.

El-Maghraby’s participation comes within the current efforts by the Entrepreneurship Center to strengthen relations with the main economic and entrepreneurship centers in the world, especially in Europe and the German-speaking world (Germany-Switzerland-Austria), in order to keep pace with the latest developments in innovation and contribute in a way that coheres with the goals of the Oman 2040 Vision and the aspirations of Dhofar University in the field of entrepreneurship.
