3rd Bi-Annual Sustainability Week, Department of Management, CCBA

On 14-15 November, 2023, “3rd Bi-Annual Sustainability Week was conducted with exhibition and workshop on sustainable development. The event was graced with the presence of esteemed Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Syed Ahsan Jamil.

Exhibition included Poster Presentation of Corporate Social Responsibility MNGT 411 students and display of environment friendly products from Handicraft Centre from Department of Mosques and Schools in Dhofar, Department of Agricultural and Livestock Research in Dhofar, Stont Tea, With Regard, and Lubaniyah to name a few.

The guest speakers of the workshop shared candid insights on sustainable practices from various industries. The students from Al Saada School for Basic Education (11-12), Manba Al Hekma School and Aldhiya Private International School also demonstrated their sustainable projects related to use of robots and smoke extraction.

Around 800 students visited the exhibition and attended the workshop. This event was successfully organized by Dr. Mariam Anil. This event drives sustainable change through enriching learning experience, which can have greater impact on building sustainable communities and business in Oman.
