The Entrepreneurial Role of Social Intelligence Sharing a Success Story at Dhofar University’s Alumni Forum
The Career Services and Alumni Center at Dhofar University organized a forum to share alumni’s outstanding professional experiences and success stories. The forum highlighted the competence and competitiveness of DU’s alumni and discussed continuous training opportunities to create awareness among alumni about the labor market needs.
Dr. Lujain El-Maghraby, Chair of Publicity Committee and Former Director of the Entrepreneurship Center, talked in the forum about the role of social intelligence in developing entrepreneurship projects. The talk focused on the role of six factors in the success of entrepreneurial projects: communication skills, conflict resolution, strategic partnerships, team building, empathy, and client services. A thorough understanding of these concepts contributes to the improvement of social relations within the team and boosts interaction with clients and partners. The talk was followed by constructive discussions and exchange of ideas with the participants.
