College of Commerce and Business Administration (CCBA) at Dhofar University Participate in the Judging of the National Olympiad for Scientific Innovations

CCBA at Dhofar University has played a vital role in judging the competitions of the National Olympiad for Scientific Innovations, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at the level of Dhofar Governorate. Where the following participated:

• Samir Hammami: Associate Professor and chairperson of the Management Information Systems Department at the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration.
• Moaz Gharib: Associate Professor and convener of the Master’s Program at the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration.

Dr. Samir and Dr. Moaz are judging twenty-six projects over two consecutive days (30-31 October 2024) at the Department of Innovation and Scientific Olympiad in the Directorate of Education in Dhofar Governorate.

The participating projects included creative ideas in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence, reflecting the growing interest of students in these vital areas.  This participation also reflects the keenness of Dhofar University to:

• Close cooperation with the Ministry of Education and educational institutions to build the governorate and achieve sustainable development goals.
• Supporting students’ innovation and creativity in the fields of science and technology.
