Overview

The Entrepreneurship Center at Dhofar University plays an important role in fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship among its students and the local community while addressing the basic needs of emerging entrepreneurs. This is achieved by providing assistance through workshops and training programs aimed at developing their ideas, turning them into reality, and providing the necessary resources for financially and socially sustainable startups. The center also offers free consultations in various fields, such as financing, marketing, and logistics for startups in coordination with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority in the Sultanate of Oman.

Center's Objectives

  1. Building partnerships with various sectors to provide the best assistance to potential entrepreneurs.
  2. Providing innovative training on leadership styles.
  3. Developing students’ entrepreneurial skills in a global context.
  4. Offering consultations, training, and assistance to continue developing new or existing projects.
  5. Organizing and participating in workshops, public lectures, and conferences.
  6. Promoting efforts to develop the small and medium enterprises sector, enhancing the efficiency of supporting and sponsoring institutions at both national and regional levels, spreading a culture of entrepreneurship, and developing entrepreneurs’ capabilities according to best practices and international standards.
