CCBA participates in “MIRBAT BEACH CLEANING” Organized by Salalah Adventures Tours and Sponsored by Rotana.
The beach cleaning initiative, organized with a focus on the environment and climate change, aimed to improve the environment of Mirbat Beach. By removing waste from the beach, the event promoted environmental conservation and raised awareness about the critical need to protect natural ecosystems in the face of climate change. The event also fostered community involvement through teamwork, with three groups formed for the activity: The hurry team, the Rotana team, and the CCBA team from Dhofar University.
The objective of the initiative was not only to clean the beach but also to highlight the importance of collective action in the fight against environmental degradation. The CCBA team, as part of Dhofar University, actively contributed to this cause, showcasing their commitment to environmental stewardship. The total amount of waste collected by all three teams reached 302 kg, demonstrating the tangible impact of their efforts in reducing pollution and protecting local habitats.
The event emphasized the power of collaboration, with all teams working together to achieve a shared environmental goal. Through the friendly competition among teams, the initiative underscored the importance of collective responsibility in addressing the environmental challenges of today. The event, organized by Salalah Adventures Tours and sponsored by Rotana, reinforced the importance of local partnerships in driving positive change for the environment and combating climate change.
