CCBA Participates at the Joint Asian Conference on Business and Economic Studies

Dr. Omar Durrah presented a research paper on “Rural Women Entrepreneurship: Motivations and Behaviours” at The Joint Asian Conference on Business and Economic Studies which was held from 28 to 30 August, 2024 in Bali Island, Indonesia. It should be noted that this research paper was a joint work with Dr. Taher Alkhalaf from Caen University in France and Dr. Suhail Ghouse from Dhofar University.

The study’s main goal is to identify the extrinsic and intrinsic motivations that encourage rural women to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors. Furthermore, the study aims to determine which pull and push factors influence their behaviours to engage in entrepreneurship. The conference was organized by three institutions including University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) (Indonesia), and Udayana University (UNUD) (Indonesia). In the conference, 250 papers from 33 countries were presented.
