CCBA Delivers Training Workshop to College of Shari'a Sciences

On November 19, 2023, Dr. Abdulaziz Abourujilah (Assistant professor at MIS department) conducted a comprehensive training workshop for the College of Shari’a Sciences. Over 90 participants attended the workshop, including faculty members, students, and several external attendees from related fields. The main focus of the workshop was on utilizing AI-based databases and tools to enhance research in Shari’a sciences.

The workshop provided a detailed introduction to modern AI techniques and their applications in managing and analyzing large datasets relevant to Shari’a research. Key topics covered included:
Advanced search techniques in Quranic texts. The workshop included live demonstrations of smart tools and practical exercises. Participants explored how these technologies could be applied to improve the accuracy and efficiency of Shari’a research while maintaining adherence to the established methodologies in the field of Shari’a.

This workshop was a step toward empowering researchers in the field of Shari’a sciences by equipping them with the skills and tools needed to adapt to the rapidly evolving technological landscape.
