Workshop on Commercial Registry Services

The Entrepreneurship Center at Dhofar University organized a specialized workshop for students participating in the scientific incubator on October 3, 2024, led by Mr. Mubarak Al-Shahri, Head of the Commercial Registration Secretariat Department at the General Directorate of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in Dhofar Governorate.

The workshop covered various topics, including an introduction to the Commercial Registration Secretariat, types of companies, commercial affairs, and the services provided by the department to entrepreneurs and various companies and institutions. The discussion also addressed the legal forms of companies, investor services, and intellectual property.

At the end of the workshop, Mr. Mubarak Al-Shahri answered all the questions and inquiries from the participating students, helping them identify the appropriate type of commercial registration for their projects and the future direction of their institutions
