Dhofar University’s College of Commerce and Business Administration (CCBA) has been awarded international accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) — one of the world’s most respected accreditation bodies for business schools (www.aacsb.edu).

This accreditation, granted on 14 February 2025, affirms CCBA’s commitment to excellence in business education and recognizes the quality of its undergraduate and graduate programs. Dhofar University is the first university in the Sultanate of Oman to earn AACSB accreditation.

CCBA’s mission remains centered on delivering high-quality, meaningful management education and preparing future-ready business leaders. The accreditation reflects years of dedication to meeting global standards of academic excellence, continuous improvement, and engagement with stakeholders.

As an AACSB-accredited institution, CCBA is now part of a distinguished global network of leading business schools united in advancing business education. This recognition enhances CCBA’s ability to foster international partnerships, attract outstanding faculty and students, and ensure that its graduates hold degrees that are respected worldwide.

The accreditation is valid for six years, in line with AACSB standards, reflecting CCBA’s ongoing commitment to quality assurance and strategic development.

Global Engagement

CCBA also holds representation on the AACSB MENA Dean’s Council, an advisory body supporting the advancement of business education across the Middle East and North Africa region.
