Ali Ba Awain is currently working as a lecturer at Department of Management, College of Commerce and Business Administration, Dhofar University, Salalah, Oman. His current job responsibilities include teaching, supervision, research, committee, and community work. He did his Master (MSc in Logistics Management) in 2017 from UCSI University.

Ali is a Member at Charted Institution of Logistics and Transportation. Within Dhofar University he has always made continuing productive contributions by being involved in the college level committees, including staff support and industrial committee. He has also been involved in university level committee i.e. Transportation and Logistics Sector committees in Dhofar Region.

Ali is actively involved in undergraduate education in department of Management and Marketing at Dhofar University through his teaching. His major area of expertise is management with a focus on Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has taught a number of undergraduate courses including principles of Management, Operations Management, International Management and principles of Marketing. He has supervised 6 undergraduate researches.
